Marco Rosa, BDP Philadelphia DuPont Operations Team Leader, presented Michelle with a BDP Outstanding Customer Service Award for a recent DuPont compliment recognizing her determination to resolve some hazardous issues with a specific ocean carrier.
For almost one week, Michelle has been dealing with hazardous booking issues with a select ocean carrier. The carrier was not opening, reviewing, or applying hazardous information for an estimated 5 - 6 hazardous bookings for the DuPont Fluoro business. Michelle was very persistent and worked with the ocean carrier to resolve the issues and was able to have the hazardous bookings approved and delivered to the terminal. These were critical orders for DuPont and its customer that must be shipped out before the end of the year.
It is this type of Customer Care that makes BDP a leader in the global logistics and transportation industry.
