Frank McGaley, Solutions Development - BDP Philadelphia nominated Information Technology colleague, Joe Conley, for his exceptional programming contributions, ideas, and customer service resulting in several, successful redesigns to the BDPSmart Vu (BDP Vu) application. BDP Vu is a vendor management tool that provides logistics managers with visibility of each stage of an international purchase order through an easy-access and user-customizable portal on BDPSmart.

To explain the depth of the project scope, Frank remarked, "Joe routinely comes back with ideas; new components to Vu. He brings a level of innovation to the application; taking the ideas that are brought to him and truly thinks about them. He is a programmer who who will 'think about' the requested changes prior to making the changes. He usually comes back with an even better idea than what was originally proposed. His learning and experience is all about striving for excellence. Joe is continuously available at all hours of the day and weekends to take my calls; even while preparing for a Master’s exam. This is an outstanding level of customer service."
