Customer Service Focused
According to Ryan Rodgers, Director, Regional Services Center – BDP York, PA and the BDP SABIC on-site team in Huntersville, NC, Jason King’s performance on the SABIC account has been fantastic. BDP customer SABIC Innovative Plastics in North America-US has noticed a big improvement in its BL retrieval timeliness since Jason took over this function. "Jason does it all" said Kristin Smith, Logistics Coordinator - BDP SABIC on-site. "We've seen a huge change since he came on board, and SABIC is very pleased with our improvements. It's wonderful."

Jason runs a daily Cognos report to identify criteria export bills of lading (BL) and contacts the respective ocean carriers for status. "The SABIC KPIs are improving because of Jason’s performance. Jason pushes and pushes the carriers to provide the BL within criteria" said Kristin.

He then completes a preliminary audit on each BL before releasing it to the BDP Malaysia Service Center to complete the final audit that triggers the closing process (when final documents are prepared for dispatch electronically and / or by hard copy to the requested parties). Select BDP SABIC on-sites are also involved in process since they review Jason's daily report; making note of critical and / or amended BLs to be retrieved.
