Excellent teamwork and the implementation of Best Practices are only two of many attributes needed to develop a successful business start up. Together, BDP and Braskem Europe GmbH implemented these key attributes in addition to open communications, commitment, and much business expertise to forge a solid partnership over the past year. Many thanks to Braskem Europe GmbH for taking the time to recognize yet another BDP Germany colleague for a job well done.  In June, BDP Chairman & CEO, Rich Bolte, attended meetings at BDP Frankfurt and presented Tobias Brandt (Manager Strategic Accounts and Branch Manager of Munich, BDP Germany; Nuremberg, BDP Germany; and Vienna, BDP Austria) with a BDP Process Improvement Award for his achievements and dedication to the Braskem business.  Uwe Jacobsen, Country Manager - BDP Germany remarked, "We would also like to give a special thanks to Tobias Brandt for all his effort and hands-on support, which resulted in a smooth transition of the Braskem business.  He truly delivered the BDP Experience!  Thank you Tobias."

Hi Uwe, 
I would like to ask that BDP considers recognizing the services that Tobias Brandt has contributed to the start up of Braskem Europe GmbH in Frankfurt and his ongoing support over the last year.  
Tobias was a critical piece and our main contact for the transition of Braskem’s business and the start up of our first European operation.  The amount of time and effort he put into making sure our start up was a success is quite impressive – especially with his knowledge of customs procedures and requirements, we were successfully able to transition our business and keep all of our clients happy.  
Tobias spent many hours with our people and our logistics sites to ensure all operations were running smooth. From my point of view, Tobias should be considered a critical resource that can help create strong relationships between BDP and clients.   I hope you have both seen this value and can find a way to recognize it internally at BDP.
