Last October, BDP customer Harman was rolling out a brand new product for country singer legend Tim McGraw to introduce at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee-US. Product was available in Asia just two days before the requested arrival time in the US which required tight logistical planning and execution.
BDP International Bernie Erlanger, Vice President Global Retail and Consumer Products pointed out, "This is one of many shipments that have been 'hand carried' for Harman. This specific shipment was needed in the US to make sure everything was okay before the roll out of the product. The shipment had the visibility all the way up to their President of the Professional Business Unit, along with Senior Management in their company. Kathy did an outstanding job in coordinating this with our BDP Asia Pacific team, most of it in the middle of the night due to the time change, as well as keeping Harman management informed every step of the way."
