Dear Jane,
I wanted to drop you a note regarding Patti Rupe and her outstanding service that she provided to our international firm. Our company needed to get a hot and quick delivery to a brand new client from Stuttgart, Germany to Dallas, Texas in one weeks time. There were problems that we encountered due to conditions beyond our control, such as tight space and volcano ash delays. However, Patti was very committed to get the freight delivered and took the extra time to contact me over the weekend on several occasions to keep me informed about the current situation. In fact, she called and talked to a Director in Germany on Saturday to find out status then reported back to me. This service is up and beyond what I would expect not only in your industry, but most others. The shipment was delayed due to circumstances caused by others, but Patti held in there and did the necessary paperwork and negotiations that proved to be minimal. At the end of the day, the client was acceptable to the circumstance. I am looking forward to building our freight service with BDP due to your excellence in customer service and accountability.
