Jennifer Behlau, Bayer LSC Team Leader - BDP Phila Airport-US nominated Jackie Palagruto as a BDP Recognized Service Excellence recipient for her continuous support with the coordination of recent Bayer ODS shipments during a critical time for the business.

On March 16, Bayer requested Jackie to be on call on the weekend of March 19, 20, and 21 so she could create the deliveries once material became available and ensure the Sunday pick up and Monday delivery to avoid a plant shut down at the customer's facility in Mexico.

The material became available on Saturday, March 20 at 9:00pm at which point Jackie was able to successfully create the deliveries. Although the task was not time consuming per se, the fact that she made herself available to be on standby all weekend, and then to be contacted on a Saturday night at 9:00pm, should be recognized as she went above and beyond what the LSC role entails.

Further more, Jackie has continued to support the ODS situation on a daily basis by participating on daily conference calls and working with the business to ensure daily truckloads are shipped to avoid further interruption to the customer.
