First, Burke played an instrumental role in Dow’s Cross Docking Operations. In the height of the container and space availability issues faced in the Gulf region, Dow took on a major initiative to move product to a west coast warehouse. This was a major start-up for Dow, and with any major new operation there is an opportunity for issues to arise. Burke was at the front and center for BDP and worked with Dow and other supply chain partners to ensure that the Cross Docking Program was a success for The Dow Chemical Company:

Second, Burke assisted Dow’s Global Trading Business Unit on a critical order that could not be delayed.

No doubt had you not stayed on top of the situation, working closely with the warehouse when a change to load plan was required and the SSL when to obtain a late gate, we would not be in position to meet the vessel cutoff.
