BDP Outstanding Customer Service Award Winner
BDP International's Michael Mehlmann - Director of Americas Supply Chain; Angie Alleva - Director, Regulatory Compliance; and Sue Denbow - CHB / Regulatory Compliance formally recognized Joe Santoro - ISF Coordinator, BDP Dow Chemical Team for his efforts coordinating the 10+2 ISF reporting data for Dow Chemical's inbound shipments to the US. Mehlmann said, “Joe's efforts are paying off with the core team and I certainly appreciate it. As we continue to push, this should open other doors in the exporting regions.”
Nicknamed 10+2, this rule requires the electronic submission of 12 data elements to Customs before imported goods even depart from the origin country.
Dow Chemical Testimonial
As you are aware 10+2 enforcement begins next Tuesday. Attached is the most current aging report from BDP.
In the last three weeks we have made a significant effort to close all files from the informed compliance period (1 still outstanding). We are now working with a 5 day window on future imports. This puts us in full compliance for the 26th deadline.
I would like to recognize George Bax and his team from Europe, Joe Santoro from BDP [International], and the International CSR team who have been working to collect data and get ISF entries filed timely. They are all critical in ensuring Dow’s compliance to this rule and are doing a great job!
